♫ Moscow Youth Cult - Sakura Sakura
I’ve been posting rather dark and gloomy music during the past week or so, which means it’s about time I break the pattern. When I first heard “Sakura Sakura” by Moscow Youth Cult (MYC) almost two weeks ago I was immediately hooked, which led to me downloading it and playing it quite often with the volume turned up to antisocial proportions.
MYC is a project from Nottingham in the UK making “fuzzy, wonky electro with a heart of popness and a kidney of ambience”. Their catchy beats and playful synthesizers definitely made me curious for their future exploits, including an upcoming release scheduled for this fall.
